Federal and Local Universal Service Program WorldNet Telecommunications, Inc, provider of telecommunication solutions, offers a subsidy for your primary residential telephone line under the program Federal and Local Universal Service. This program allows you to save in your monthly rental charges and in the installation and activation of a residential telephone service (fixed).
Lifeline provides a monthly subsidy to cover access and/or rental charges, under the Federal and Local Universal Service Program. Besides the monthly subsidy provided by the federal and local program, WorldNet offers a monthly allowance of $2.50 to those who qualify- for a total of $12.75 per month. To be eligible, your income should be under the levels established by the Federal Poverty Guidelines. To verify eligibility, all income in your family group is taken into account.
