WORLDNET TELECOMUNNICATIONS DECADE OF SUCCESS

Guaynabo - WorldNet Telecommunications, Inc., the only 100% Puerto Rican owned local telecommunications company, celebrates a decade of success. According to its president, Larry Freedman, "These ten years have been of progressive and continuous growth within our organization and in the marketplace."

Following its beginnings as a supplier of traditional telephony services and its commitment to transform the business world, WorldNet acquired at a cost of $4 million new and modern facilities in the Centro Internacional de Mercadeo. Its group of employees has grown from only 10 in its beginnings to more than a 180 today. Mr. Freedman added "Today our net of services is the most complete and advanced within the local telecommunications market. In addition to traditional telephony, we provide VOIP, Internet of high speed, Web hosting and telecommunications consulting. To those who ask where we are going next, our future is convergent with growth and expansion of services. We are planning the inauguration of our network enabling us to be more independent and guarantee our client base a better quality of services.

Freedman emphasized, "Our immediate goal is to fully satisfy the specific telecommunications needs of each industry including pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, hospitality, and central and municipal government. We have the capacity and the ability to provide this “concierge-style service”. However, we do not forget the needs of small businesses that in order to grow must remain technologically competitive."
Another reason for celebration is the Zenit Award for Telecommunications granted to WorldNet by the Chamber of Commerce of Puerto Rico. "Perhaps part of this decade of successes stems from our capacity to rapid response to our clients requests. We have grown but in our organization bureaucracy is not an option" concluded Freedman.
